01 · About this build
Complicated records, clear answers.
Broadway Energy Land Services works in a business where complicated records have to become clear answers. The website was designed around the same progression the work follows.
Rather than a conventional energy-industry site built on generic photography and broad service descriptions, Bailes + Zindler created a visual and information system drawn from the documents Broadway works with every day: survey plats, tract boundaries, courthouse records, title chains, lease maps, ownership interests, coordinates, formations and wellbores.
The interface follows the record from ownership, through leasing, and into mineral interests, while staying understandable for owners, operators, investors and other energy-industry clients.

Each discipline has its own page, terminology, explanation, supporting visuals and individual service detail.
Business facts are separated from assumptions
The website identifies Broadway Energy Land Services, LLC as the legal company name and Broadway Land as its assumed business name. It publishes the company’s Tyler, Texas office and contact information, its principals, and its more than 60 years of combined energy land-services experience. Where information has not been supplied or confirmed, the website does not invent it.
Complex work is easier to understand
Title establishes ownership. Leasing secures rights across individual tracts. Mineral services address the interests that remain, produce, transfer or require ongoing management. That relationship is built into the information architecture rather than left for visitors to piece together from unrelated service descriptions.
